wow!!!
oh my goodness so i went to see my weight loss consultant today and weighed in and i was so shocked… i lost 12 pounds in 7 days…is that even possible i guess it is cuz i did… however then my consultant told me that i should only be losing 1-3 pounds a week. she said it is not healthy to lose that much that fast… i dont know why i lost so much so fast i even weighed in after breakfast. I havent been doing anything drastic just walking an hour in the morning with my son and an hour in the evening with my son and about 30 minutes of excercise video a day and i have been eating about 1600 calories a day compared to the over 3000 i used to consume.. should i not walk as much or eat more… i mean i feel good i dont feel over exerted or starved i feel really good..i have a little more energy and a better more positive attitude…im just a little confused…i didnt know you could lose too much weight too quickly or how to lose a healthy amount of weight….anyone have any ideas?

Great job on the weight loss. Does your weight loss consultant give you a menu to follow etc? Or is it just a place that you go to get weighted. Take care I wish I had some advice but can’t really help.
The weight always comes off quickly in the beginning, so I wouldn’t worry that your diet and exercise plan needs adjustment. Enjoy the loss! Congrats!
It is possible a large chunk of that weight loss was water… which is neither a bad nor a good thing. Follow what your consultant said and keep up with your exersize. Good job though! You seem to be off to a great start!

I would not worry about it this week now if it happens again I would go see my doctor. It could have been water. So just do what you are doing. You are eating good amounts of food.. Are you taking a rest day?

Well done! 12lbs in the first week is amazing! what a boost! as the others have said, i wouldn’t worry about the doctors comments as first week you lose alot of water weight and alot of people tend to lose 5 or 7lbs in the first week just by making food changes. the fact you are getting so much exercise in must be why you had 12lbs!! It will start to balance out and you should aim for 1-2 pounds per week from here on in. Well done, and keep up the great work

I wouldnt worry about the 1st or 2nd week too too much as far as losing too quickly or too much weight. It comes off fast in the beginning. So take the 12lbs and be happy!!!
You did do something drastic btw, you cut your cals in half!!! But thats ok, because youre still getting in a great amount. And you upped your exercise by 2 and a half hours????? Walking is GREAT exercise!!! Just keep it up and enjoy this loss! =]
